With a reinforced, rigid unit-body, six standard airbags and sophisticated stability systems, the Ridgeline is serious about safety.
Systems for Safety
Every Ridgeline has advanced safety systems to help keep you out of trouble and in command.
Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA®)[1] with Traction Control helps keep drivers in control in the event of an oversteer or understeer. 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes (ABS) along with Brake Assist and Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) help you bring everything to a stop. And should your tire’s air pressure reach a significantly low level, the
Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) [2] will let you know.
Sturdy Structure
Designed for enhanced crash protection, the Ridgeline has a tough backbone that incorporates an integrated closed-box frame and a reinforced unit body.
Airbags Abound
While sharing our roads with many other drivers, a time may come when a collision is unavoidable. For superior defense during impact, Ridgeline occupants are surrounded by no less than six airbags. The array of coverage includes dual-stage, multiple-threshold front airbags, front side airbags with passenger-side Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS), and side curtain airbags with a rollover sensorall standard.
