Systems for Safety
Every Ridgeline has advanced safety systems to help keep you out of trouble and in command. Vehicle Stability Assist™ (VSA®)[1] with Traction Control helps keep drivers in control in the event of an oversteer or understeer. 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes (ABS) along with Brake Assist and Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) help you bring everything to a stop. And should your tire’s air pressure reach a significantly low level, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) [2] will let you know.
Sturdy Structure
Designed for enhanced crash protection, the Ridgeline has a tough backbone that incorporates an integrated closed-box frame and a reinforced unit body.
Airbags Abound
While sharing our roads with many other drivers, a time may come when a collision is unavoidable. For superior defense during impact, Ridgeline occupants are surrounded by no less than six airbags. The array of coverage includes dual-stage, multiple-threshold front airbags, front side airbags with passenger-side Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS), and side curtain airbags with a rollover sensor—all standard.
