192-hp, 2.4-Liter, 16-Valve, DOHC i-VTEC® 4-Cylinder Engine
The Crosstour EX and EX-L models feature a powerful 192-hp 4-cylinder engine. The DOHC i-VTEC® system enhances the effect of VTEC® on Crosstour's 4-cylinder engine by adding Variable Timing Control™, or VTC™.
278-hp, 3.5-Liter, 24-Valve, SOHC i-VTEC® V-6 Engine
The Crosstour's i-VTEC® V-6 system is designed to deliver outstanding performance at any engine speed. And with Variable Cylinder Management™ (VCM®), you get thrilling acceleration with maximum fuel efficiency[1].

6-Speed Automatic Transmission
Now you can kick things into a sixth gear in the Crosstour. On V-6 models, the 6-speed automatic transmission uses the engine's broad torque curve for brisk acceleration, optimal fuel economy[1] and smooth shifting.

Double Wishbone Front Suspension
The Crosstour's double wishbone front suspension uses both lower and upper control links. This allows Honda engineers the flexibility to tune the suspension for predictable cornering feel and emergency maneuvering, to ensure a smooth and stable ride. In addition, the front shocks utilize a rebound spring within the shock tube that enhances the inside front tire's road contact when cornering.
Drive-by-Wire Throttle System
In the Crosstour, fast-responding electronics take the place of a traditional throttle cable and produce greater response and driveability with minimum adjustment and maintenance.
Grade Logic Control
Honda's Grade Logic Control System featured on the Crosstour differs from other computer-controlled shift programming because it can detect driving situations and then set appropriate shift points for the car. The feature helps drivers avoid gear hunting on climbs and descents, and it downshifts for added engine braking when needed.
Independent Multi-Link Rear Suspension
The independent multi-link rear suspension provides high lateral rigidity for more spirited handling.
Maintenance Minder™ System
The Maintenance Minder™ tracks services on a mileage basis such as the miles between changes to the air filter, spark plugs, coolant and tire rotation. In addition, engine sensors detect driving conditions to indicate when an oil change is recommended and send that information to the Maintenance Minder.
Real Time 4WD™
The Real Time 4WD™ system engages when slippage is detected and you need to send power to where there is tire grip. This is a hydraulically actuated system that operates only when front-wheel slippage occurs, helping you through terrain that can be tricky to maneuver.
Variable Cylinder Management™ (VCM®)
The Crosstour's V-6 engine features the latest generation of Variable Cylinder Management™ (VCM®) technology. This system can activate and deactivate the engine's cylinders as needed to meet the demands of both acceleration and fuel economy[1]. When maximum torque is required, all six cylinders are firing. During steady cruising speeds, VCM allows Crosstour to run on just three cylinders.
