Control-Link MacPherson Strut Front Suspension
The front suspension is a MacPherson strut with a large lower L-shaped arm that soaks up bumps and road disturbances quite effectively, thanks to its long spring travel. A bushing, built into the front, inner pivot of the lower suspension arm, provides the necessary compliance to absorb jolts. This suspension design results in a smooth ride, yet provides excellent steering response and enhanced straight-line braking stability.
Drive-by-Wire™ Throttle System
Fast-responding electronics take the place of a traditional throttle cable and produce greater response, fuel economy and driveability with minimum adjustment and maintenance.
Vehicle Stability Assist™ (VSA®)
Working with ABS and the Drive-by-Wire™ throttle system, VSA enhances stability by detecting oversteer or understeer, and by then braking individual wheels and/or reducing throttle to help restore the driver's intended course.
