Audio System
Enjoy socializing wherever the Element's parked with a booming audio system. EX models feature a 270-watt AM/FM/CD audio system with 7 speakers, a subwoofer and a standard connection to XM® Radio[1]. Plus, with an MP3/auxiliary input jack and Windows Media®[2] Audio (WMA) playback capability on every EX model, the Element can play a soundtrack for every trip.

Center Console with Removable Cooler
All Element EX models come with a removable center console that can be used for storage or as a cooler. This versatile feature can accommodate food or drinks as easily as CDs or maps. Plus, a hidden storage tray under the beverage holders helps keep valuables safe.
Urethane-Coated Utility Floor
The Element anticipates its many uses, from transporting gear to shuttling pets. So the floor surfaces are coated with urethane—a tough, nearly scratch- and puncture-proof material with an easy-to-clean finish. Electrical harness connectors above the floor were waterproofed and electronic components near the floor were raised above floor height to protect from water damage. (Nevertheless, do not hose out your Element.)
Water-Resistant FXC® Seat Fabric
Enjoy a water-resistant fabric called FXC®, or Fabric for Extreme Conditions, on the front seats of all Elements. EX models add this special fabric to the rear seats. The five-layer fabric provides outstanding durability and protection so that water simply beads on the surface and wipes away easily. Ketchup, lipstick, sloshed coffee, renegade food crumbs or even pet spills are no match for FXC®[1].
