Race-Inspired Paddle Shifters
For those who miss the control of manual shifting, the 2012 Fit Sport's available steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters are a fun alternative. Tap the +side to upshift, and the –side to downshift. Vrooom!
Steering Wheel-Mounted Controls
The 2012 Fit's steering wheel-mounted controls allow you to keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel.
People Mode
Unless you're a professional mover, the Fit will probably spend most of its time in this mode. With rear seatback up, there's plenty of room for five. And there's still room for gear in back with 20.6 cubic feet of storage.
Utility Mode
Utility Mode allows for maximum cargo capacity. Just fold both seats down and a cavernous 57.3 cubic feet of cargo space[1] appears. And thanks to the low lift-over height of the hatch, large and heavy items can be easily loaded.

[1] Honda reminds you to properly secure items stored in cargo area.
Long Mode
Perfect for those who need to transport linear necessities, like surfboards or a set of conga drums, Long Mode accommodates longer items, up to 7' 9", without a roof rack. Trip to the lumberyard, anyone?
Tall Mode
Tall Mode is a useful cargo-carrying configuration for tall items that need to remain upright, such as a ficus tree. Pull the front wheels off your mountain bikes and load them in standing up. Fold the Magic Seat® up and you'll find the Fit's secret box - a great place to stow small valuables.
Secret Storage
Fold up the rear Magic Seat® to reveal a cleverly hidden storage compartment for stowing, and concealing, small valuables such as wallets, purses or jewelry.
Maximized Visibility
Front visibility is maximized by incorporating a thin A-pillar, using flat-blade windshield wipers, and utilizing large, triangular mini-windows located on either side. Enjoy the spacious view.
Modern Instrument Panel
The instrument panel design features a Multi-Information Display (MID) providing a digital odometer, Maintenance Minder™ system and trip meter that shows instant and average fuel economy. And it glows an ambient, moody blue at night.
10 Beverage Holders
Bottoms up! The 2012 Fit has 10 beverage holders. So load them up with water bottles, energy drinks, customized coffee and other thirst quenchers for you and your friends.
160-Watt WMA/MP3-Compatible Audio System
Feel the beat. The 2012 Fit Sport comes with a standard 160-watt, AM/FM, CD player audio system with 6 speakers and an MP3/auxiliary input jack. The audio system is also capable of reading MP3 or WMA files of a CD-R and displaying the track information on the screen.
Available Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation with Voice Recognition
Find your next late-night breakfast spot. The available Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™[1] gives you on-screen and voice guidance to your destinations. The system responds to simple voice commands and can suggest over 10 million points of interest, including 24-hour eateries.

[1] The Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ is available on Sport models with automatic transmission in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Please see your Honda dealer for details.
Upper and Lower Glove Compartments
For clever storage, open either the upper or the lower glove compartment. The top level even houses the USB Audio Interface[1]. Plug and play!

[1] The USB Audio Interface is used for direct connection to and control of some current digital audio players and other USB devices that contain MP3, WMA or AAC music files. Some USB devices with security software and digital rights-protected files may not work. Please see your Honda dealer for details.
USB Audio Interface [1]
Connecting with your digital music is easy in the 2012 Fit. Located in the upper glove compartment, the USB port allows you to directly connect and control certain iPod models and USB flash drives. Just download your MP3/WMA/AAC files to a USB flash drive. And you can charge your iPod[2] by plugging it in while the engine is running. Navigation-equipped 2012 Fit Sport models have steering wheel-mounted controls for quick toggling through your playlists
