Paddle Shifters
The Insight EX features racing-inspired paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel. They offer the driver direct, 7-speed access to the Insight's continuously variable transmission (CVT) for quick, precise shifting control.
ECON Button
More performance or more fuel efficiency? It's up to you. Push the ECON button, and the Insight automatically adjusts many of its functions to maximize fuel efficiency[1]. Power and torque are adjusted as well[2]. ECON mode[1] reduces the length of time the AC compressor operates. Throttle response and CVT operation are optimized, just to name a few.

Steering Wheel-Mounted Controls
With the steering wheel-mounted controls, you can easily access the functions of the Multi-Informational Display (MID) without taking your hands off the wheel. Insight LX models add audio and cruise control, EX models add phone-controls.
Multi-Informational (MID)
With a steering wheel-mounted button, you can quickly access fuel economy numbers, trip meters and other data through the Multi- Informational Display (MID). By varying the speedometer background color and providing other visual cues in the MID, the Insight's Eco Assist ™ feedback feature provides the driver with the information needed to brake and accelerate in ways that maximize their "Eco Score."
Navigation with Available Voice Recognition and FM Traffic
Seeking a little guidance? Directions are just a voice command away with the available Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System ™ with voice recognition and FM Traffic[1]. The system is capable of recognizing numbers, street names and cities, in addition to more than 700 standard voice commands.

[1] The Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ is available on EX models in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. (FM Traffic service only available in the United States, except Alaska). Please see your Honda dealer for details.
Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink®
Available Bluetooth®[1] is standard on 2012 Insight EX models, along with the HandsFreeLink® communication tool. It will let you use your Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone without taking your eyes off the road – or your hands off the wheel.

[1] The Bluetooth® word mark and logos are owned by the Bluetooth SIG, Inc., and any use of such marks by Honda Motor Co., Ltd., is under license.
USB Audio Interface
The Insight boasts the latest in audio technology, too. In LX and EX models, you can use the USB Audio Interface[1] to plug in your iPod®[2] or other compatible audio devices.

[1] The USB Audio Interface is used for direct connection to and control of some current digital audio players and other USB devices that contain MP3, WMA or AAC music files. Some USB devices with security software and digital rights-protected files may not work. Please see your Honda dealer for details.

[2] iPod classic® is not included. iPod classic is a registered trademark of Apple Inc.
60/40 Split Rear Seatback
The Insight's 60/40 split rear seatbacks fold down to create a large cargo space, making many interior configurations possible. And the conventional 5-door design, including a large hatch, eases access.
Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)
The CVT offers a smooth and fun driving experience, along with excellent acceleration. By helping the gasoline engine and electric IMA® motor stay in their most efficient operating range, the CVT also helps maximize the hybrid's fuel efficiency.
Enhanced Rear Visibility
The Insight's rear hatch area features an extra glass panel for increased rearward visibility when backing up.
