Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink® Technology
For added convenience and enhanced safety, in 2009 all Odyssey models equipped with Navigation offer Honda’s HandsFreeLink wireless telephone interface featuring Bluetooth* technology. The system uses the Odyssey’s audio system and a built-in microphone and allows the driver to make or receive phone calls without handling their phone or taking their eyes off the road. Honda DVD Rear Entertainment System (RES)
Available on the EX-L and standard on Touring models, the factory-integrated DVD Rear Entertainment System will delight rear-seat passengers. The 9-inch display flips down from the ceiling at the push of a button. The system allows for video or any audio source to be played through the headphones, even as the front passengers are listening to a different audio source via the front speakers.

Planning a trip? Lost in the suburbs? Either way, the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System is here to help. With up to eight gigabytes of memory and voice recognition, it provides convenient directions using a series of 24 global positioning satellites.

Wave Key and Immobilizer Theft-Deterrent System
The system immobilizes the engine’s fuel injection and ignition, and only a matching digital code in the ignition key can override it. When the driver puts the key into the ignition switch, the switch transmits a signal that reads the code in the key. If the key code agrees with the code in the powertrain control module (PCM), the engine starts.
