With its fold-flat floor, 87.0 cubic feet of cargo space, tie-down anchors, bag hooks and tailgate with lift-up glass hatch, the Pilot is a toolbox on wheels[1].

Integrated Class III Trailer Hitch
An integrated Class III trailer hitch, tastefully hidden behind a cover, is standard on every 2012 Pilot. In addition to the integrated hitch, the Pilot comes ready to tow with a heavy-duty power steering cooler. And 4WD models add an automatic transmission-fluid cooler. The trailer harness is standard on Touring models, and available on EX-L and below models. Maximum towing capacity is 2,000 lbs for 2WD models, and 4,500 lbs for 4WD models[1].

Power Tailgate with Lift-Up Glass Hatch
Pilot EX-L and Touring models include a power tailgate that can be operated remotely with the key fob or by pushing a button inside the driver's area. An electric motor in the cargo area will raise and lower the entire tailgate; however, it will not open or close the lift-up glass hatch. A simple push of the button will close the tailgate, and can be done from as far away as 50 feet.
