Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
This system monitors the pressure in all four tires, and alerts the driver if pressure in any tire becomes significantly low.*

*For optimal tire wear and performance, tire pressure should be checked regularly with a gauge. Do not rely solely on the monitor system. See your local Honda dealer for details.
Front 3-Point Seat Belts with Automatic Tensioning System
3-point seat belts with an automatic tensioning system ride across the lap and chest to help restrain occupants during sudden stops or impact.
Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS)
The anti-lock braking system (ABS) uses a special modulator to pulse the brakes to help prevent wheel lockup. This helps the driver retain steering control during hard braking.
Daytime Running Lights (DRL)
The S2000 enhances its visibility to others by incorporating Daytime Running Lights (DRL) up front.
Dual Front Airbags (SRS)
In the event of a moderate-to-severe frontal impact, the dual-stage, dual-threshold front airbags (SRS) inflate and deflate in a fraction of a second, and are designed to help mitigate head and upper-body injuries.

*Airbags inflated for display purposes.
Front and Rear Crush Zones
The front and rear crush zones help provide driver and passenger protection in full-frontal, offset-frontal and rear impacts.
Drive-by-Wire™ Throttle System
Working in tandem with Vehicle Stability Assist™ (VSA®), the Drive-by-Wire throttle system replaces a conventional throttle arrangement with an all-electronic system that senses the throttle pedal position and relays that information to a computer. The computer then performs the actual throttle activation instantaneously.
Vehicle Stability Assist™ (VSA®) with Traction Control
Working with ABS and the Drive-by-Wire™ throttle system, VSA enhances stability by detecting oversteer or understeer, and by braking individual wheels and/or reducing throttle to help restore the driver's intended path of travel.
