Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink®

Civic Hybrid models feature the factory-installed Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink®[1] communication tool. This feature allows you to use your mobile phone that has the hands-free profile without taking your eyes off the road or hands off the wheel. The system has voice recognition capability that will store up to 50 contacts per phone within the system. Certain phones with phonebook export capability may transfer their entire contact list into the system's memory (up to 1,000 names and 10,000 phone numbers). The phonebook can be password-protected for extra security. A list of compatible phones can be found at handsfreelink.honda.com. You can also stream audio from your Bluetooth device directly to the audio system, and choose tracks through the steering wheel-mounted controls.

Eco Assist™

Honda’s Eco Assist™ is like having your own onboard efficiency coach. Just take a glance at the colored bars on either side of the speedometer. Stay in the green, and you could go farther on a tank full of gas[1].

[1] 44 city/44 highway/44 combined mpg rating. Based on 2013 EPA mileage ratings. Use for comparison purposes only. Your actual mileage will vary depending on how you drive and maintain your vehicle.

ECON Button

More performance, or more fuel efficiency? It’s up to you. Push the ECON button, and the Civic automatically adjusts many of its functions to maximize fuel efficiency. For a bit more zip, push the button again to go back into normal mode.

FM Traffic

A useful feature of the available navigation system[1], FM Traffic alerts you to current traffic conditions, and can help guide you around heavy traffic and display alternate routes. Best of all, FM Traffic is subscription-free. Visit traffic.honda.com for more information.

[1] The Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ is available in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. (FM Traffic service only available in the United States, except Alaska). Please see your Honda dealer for details.

Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™

Getting directions couldn’t be easier with the available Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ with voice recognition[1]. The system is capable of recognizing numbers, street names and cities, plus 10 million points of interest. In addition, the FM Traffic feature helps you avoid gridlock, slowdowns and road closures.

intelligent Multi-Information Display (i-MID)

Located front and center in the instrument panel, the i-MID communicates with virtually all of your vehicle’s systems so you can get all your information in one place. See vehicle performance stats, like fuel consumption, energy flow, trip range and outside temperature, as well as more personal info, like text messages (when stopped)[1] and what’s streaming on your iPhone®[2] from Pandora®[3]. Then upload a favorite image for the i-MID’s wallpaper.

[1] Compatible with select phones with Bluetooth®. Your wireless carrier's rate plans apply. State or local laws may limit use of texting feature. Only use texting feature when conditions allow you to do so safely.

Drive responsibly. Some state laws prohibit the operation of handheld electronic devices while operating a vehicle. For safety reasons, always launch your audio application or perform any other operation on your phone or audio device only when the vehicle is safely parked.

Pandora® Compatibility

With i-MID and Pandora® compatibility[1], you’re riding with your own personal DJ. iPhone®[2] users can connect their devices via the USB Audio Interface[3] and stream Pandora through the Civic’s audio system.

Rearview Camera with Guidelines

A rearview camera with guidelines comes standard on all models. Navigation-equipped models offer three camera angles to choose from: 180° wide view, 130° normal view, and an overhead view of the rear bumper. Models without navigation display the image on the i-MID, while navigation-equipped models display the image on the navigation screen.

SMS Text Message Function

Get a text? In the Civic Hybrid, you have complete access to your text messages without even looking at your phone[1]. Once your compatible phone is connected with your i-MID, you'll receive an alert when incoming messages are received. The i-MID can display them when you’re stopped, read them aloud when you’re moving, or save them for later. And if you want to send a response from the road, choose one of the i-MID’s many prewritten messages.

Lane Departure Warning (LDW)

A small camera mounted at the top of the front windshield can detect lane markings on the road so it can determine when the driver is making an unindicated departure from a detected lane[1]. Visual alerts will light up on the driver’s instrument panel and the system also can provide an audible warning.

[1] LDW only alerts drivers when lane drift is detected without a turn signal in use. LDW may not detect all lane markings or lane departures; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed and road condition. System operation affected by extreme interior heat. Driver remains responsible for safely operating vehicle and avoiding collisions.

Forward Collision Warning (FCW)

A small camera mounted at the top of the front windshield can detect the presence of vehicles in front of you. When the FCW system calculates that you are at risk of a collision with a detected vehicle, it immediately activates visual and/or audible alerts[1].

[1] FCW cannot detect all objects ahead and may not detect a given object; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed and other factors. System operation affected by extreme interior heat. FCW does not include a braking function. Driver remains responsible for safely operating vehicle and avoiding collisions.
