Chase down your next adventure with confidence, knowing that the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) awarded the all-new 2012 CR-V with a 5-star overall safety rating. Every CR-V is equipped with a host of standard safety features, including Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure, Vehicle Stability Assist™ (VSA®) with traction control and active front head restraints.

[1] Based on frontal crash- and side crash-safety ratings and Overall Vehicle Score in the NHTSA NCAP testing. Government 5-Star Safety Ratings are part of NHTSA's New Car Assessment Program (www.SaferCar.gov). Model tested with standard side airbags (SABs). Vehicles tested under the new program cannot be compared to MY10 and earlier vehicles.
Here’s another reason to love the all-new 2012 CR-V: Kelley Blue Book's kbb.com named it a "2012 Best Redesigned Vehicle." According to the editors, the CR-V "boasts greater comfort, improved fuel economy and enhanced dynamics across the range while offering impressive options that include a more sophisticated version of its Real Time AWD."

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has named the CR-V a "2012 Top Safety Pick." IIHS rates vehicles good, acceptable, marginal or poor based on performance in front and side crash tests, a rollover test, and evaluations of seat/head restraints for protection against neck injuries in rear impacts. To earn Top Safety Pick for 2012, a vehicle must have good ratings in all four Institute tests.
The 2012 Honda CR-V was named one of the Top 10 cars with Best Resale Value by Kelley Blue Book's kbb.com. Depreciation (or loss of value) is typically a car buyer's primary expense during ownership. Taking resale value into account can help drivers save money in the long run. Kelley Blue Book® Residual Values are projected based on market conditions for each vehicle, competition within vehicle segments, expectations of the future economy and combined experience of Kelley Blue Book's residual analysts.

Vehicle's projected resale value is specific to the 2012 model year. For more information, visit Kelley Blue Book's kbb.com. Kelley Blue Book is a registered trademark of Kelley Blue Book Co., Inc.
Kelley Blue Book's kbb.com named the all-new CR-V one of the "Best Family Cars of 2012." The CR-V earned this award from The Trusted Resource® by being "family-friendly in a big way, offering safety, comfort, child-friendliness, strong consumer ratings and impressive cost of ownership stats."

Honda has a history of environmental leadership dating back to a time when green was simply a color. Several decades later, we are proud to carry that tradition along, and be recognized as the country's Greenest Automaker by the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS)—for the fifth time in a row[1].
