A wonderful lady made a special hand-crocheted blanket for me of the sunshine and the colors in it. She also donated almost 50 scarves to the Women's Community here in town. This made me happy to know that there are good people in the world.

My fountain of love. My college professor inspired me to make the world a better place, it started with a receptionist who's son was overseas and she worried everyday. So everyday I wrote a word on a rock and gave it to her. Eventually she put all the rocks into a fountain. One stepping stone at a time we can make a great difference in the world in leaps and bounds. But you have to take the first step to begin that journey.

I emailed my younger cousin's favorite team. He plays football and I wanted to encourage him so I requested some items to be mailed to him from the team. They are sending him a fan pack. I shared with them this photo and of his reaction to a pillow that my husband and I worked on.

I read on Face-book that a friend of mine was going through a tough time, at the same time her cat needed surgery. This is an example of the care packages I make. I made several of them this month alone. This helps make the world a better place.

This is what a homeless family left behind after we provided hospitality to them for a short few weeks. She is a new addition to our family. I think she will leave the world a better place to us as us to her. I am not quite sure about the dog?

Last week while waiting for mail, I met a lady in our apartment complex named Chris. She asked me my name sweetly and we introduced ourselves. Today I baked pink lemonade cupcakes, since life can dish lemons. I brought some over to where she lives with a note card that says I will stop by again :) I hope this helped cheer her day.

Every year my husband and I would attend Empty Bowls, we would get a bowl and some soup, the proceeds went to the local food pantries. These are the bowls except the smallest that says Sushi. It is an empty bowl I painted for my husband but it is full of love, the language that is forever new to us! Thank you for loving me, I love you too.
