If cars could have a soul this car would be your most loyal friend. Although I’m not the original owner of my 323,000 1990 Accord EX, I have known the original owners for years. The car was purchased new at College Hills Honda in Wooster Ohio, and thanks to their excellent service, it runs as if new. I purchased the car at 230,000 miles when the original owners asked me, an ex Honda employee, if I might know of anyone who wanted there car. They loved and had a passion for the car, keeping it years longer than they ever thought they would. I’ve continued with that dedication through a spirit of ongoing preservation. The car continues to draw attention from people who, at this point, don’t realize what it is. They are sure it is a new or different model, and can’t believe it is a 17 year-old Accord. I have had, and still have, newer Honda and Acura products but this is by far my favorite. The Accord shares the garage with a 6-speed Acura TL, destined to be its replacement when it wares out, but I think and hope there is a long wait for Acura.
