There are memories behind every mile in a Honda, and we’d love to hear yours. If your odometer has reached a notable milestone, this is the place to share your journey with others who have done the same. Congratulations—not every Honda travels 100,000 miles and beyond. The stories here don’t represent the average expectancy of every Honda. Everyone’s experience is different based on vehicle, driving manner and conditions.

My wife bought her Honda Prelude new in 1985. With regular maintenance, it remained ever-reliable and racked up over 247,000 miles before we replaced it in 2003 with my Honda CR-V. In fact, I believe the only major repairs that were ever necessary over the course of 18 years consisted of replacing the radio, water pump and turn-signal switch, and some work done on the air conditioning! Although the Prelude's engine was a little tired when we retired it in 2003, you'd be tired too if you ran 247,000 miles!

Prior to buying my CR-V, we bought an Acura 3.2TL in 2000 for her to drive (that's when I first "inherited" the Prelude). Both purchases were motivated by our satisfaction with the Prelude, and we continue to be happy with both of our current Honda vehicles.
