There are memories behind every mile in a Honda, and we’d love to hear yours. If your odometer has reached a notable milestone, this is the place to share your journey with others who have done the same. Congratulations—not every Honda travels 100,000 miles and beyond. The stories here don’t represent the average expectancy of every Honda. Everyone’s experience is different based on vehicle, driving manner and conditions.

My first love was a 1990 Hampshire green Accord EX sedan. my dad got her used at the local Honda dealer (he been a tech there for 20 somthin odd years) and I traded him the idea instead of me driving my grandma's old 1985 civic station wagon. I wanted this Accord. the civic getting about 40 miles per gallon. He accepted. I can't lie, I hammered this poor old Accord, drove it like a bat outta hella. One night in our drive way when I was trying to sneak home. I custom fitted it to back of my moms '95 Odyssey mini van. With a battered front end. I stopped the abuse on it. I took on autobody at the Vo-tec in my later high school years (my junior and senior). Until then I drove this car around with a barely street legal front end. When I got to working on it at the tech center. as a bent sheet metal, and sanded bondo. I felt something speical, this little ol Accord began to mean alot more. it was mine, and mine alone. Almost like it was talking to me sometimes when I worked on it. It made me regret treating this car like it was a NASCAR. With 375,000 miles on it(original drivetrain), I realized this car was tough, and the way I raced it. It was waaay tough. even when I wrecked her (yes it's a she.haha I named her Samantha, just cause I thoguh it was a beautiful name, for a beautiful car). and when I finished buffing it after I fixed and painted it. I realized what this car was to me. My first love. Ever since then I baby that car constatly, even the slightest thing is wrong I break it down and repair it. I constaly clean it and upkeep it. I went junk yard diving looking for little thing most people wouldn't care about, like plastic covers or if I saw a door panel that was in better shape I got it, if I see an accesory I like I buy it too, like my spoiler (Genuine Honda only of course!). I'd really like some fog lights and the gold grill and emblems. Haha but they are harder and harder to find. I will keep Sammy as long as I can. She was my first and will always be my #1.
