Manufactured in Japan, my 1993 Honda Civic LX Sedan was purchased brand new by my mother in southern California, and in 1997 she drove us to our new residence in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Fast forward to 2 years ago: ever since learning how to drive manual in this Milano Red Civic, it's been my favorite choice of transportation around town (automatics are too boring now!). Recently college classes have led me to commute over 400 miles a week, rocketing my Civic towards the 170,000-mile mark, which I officially achieved today! Ironically, for the last mile I drove around a parking lot on the side of the highway so I could easily stop to take the picture of such a glorious moment for my Civic. I can proudly say I’ve been properly raised on the Honda pedigree, and when I must retire my wonderfully-purring 5-speed Civic, I will suitably replace it with a new Honda Civic Si Sedan! Until then, I will continue enjoying every new mile in my 1993 Honda Civic LX Sedan.
