There are memories behind every mile in a Honda, and we’d love to hear yours. If your odometer has reached a notable milestone, this is the place to share your journey with others who have done the same. Congratulations—not every Honda travels 100,000 miles and beyond. The stories here don’t represent the average expectancy of every Honda. Everyone’s experience is different based on vehicle, driving manner and conditions.

I have owned my 2000 Insight for just three years. In that time I have put 100K miles on the car myself. I raced (SCCA Solo/Autoxing) the Insight for two years. I even took the local championship in my class (HS) both years. All the time averaging 54 miles per gallon (lifetime average). This car is bullet proof. I retired the Insight from racing at just over 100K miles as I need it to be my commuter car (75 miles one way to work, 5 days a week). Who said Hybrids aren't reliable didn't have a Honda. Here's a picture of the Insight in race trim.
