2005 RSX Import Tuner/Skunk2 Racing

Skunk2 Racing makes a comprehensive line of performance parts for the RSX Type-S, and Import Tuner relied heavily on them for their entry in the 2005 RSX Challenge. The fully built K20A iVTEC engine uses Skunk2 Racing's Pro block, head, cams, valves, valve springs and titanium retainers. Extra power comes from Skunk2's custom turbo system, which uses a Tial turbocharger. Wiseco Pistons are attached to custom forged rods in the rebuilt bottom end, and an AEM Engine Management System controls ignition and fuel from the 720cc RC Engineering fuel injectors. Moton shocks combine with Skunk2's adjustable suspension and an AP Racing brake system for enhanced on-track performance. Autowerks painted the C-West aero kit, and Sparco seats and harnesses accent the custom interior.
