Variable Cylinder Management™ (VCM®)
Every Pilot features the latest generation of Honda's Variable Cylinder Management™ (VCM®), which is designed to help improve fuel economy[1] without sacrificing power. The system achieves this by automatically deactivating and reactivating multiple cylinders, depending on the vehicle’s needs. It also helps the Pilot achieve its Ultra-Low-Emission Vehicle (ULEV-2) rating[2].
