Honda Ridgeline Baja Race Truck driving on off-road Parker 425 race course.

The Honda Racing Ridgeline program kicked off the 2017 racing season strong with its Ridgeline Baja Race Truck, ultimately finishing third in the "7200" class at the Parker 425. In a rugged race known for punishing the trucks competing in it, the Ridgeline held its own all the way to the podium.

Though the truck is powered by a 550 horsepower, 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine produced by Honda Performance Development, it actually uses the same block, cylinder heads and crankshaft as the production V-6 engine that powers the Ridgeline. The race truck also shares several key design elements of the standard production Ridgeline, including the front fascia, hood, roof, bed and side profile.
