This is my first Honda and at 263,496 miles it still has the original clutch, battery, alternator, starter, etc. The only major thing that was replaced is the exhaust system. It has faithfully transported me to and from work at over 120 miles per day for over 9 years. It has also gotten me through many a snow storms in upstate New York. I am hoping to get 300,000 miles out of it. The only thing that may break me down and make me trade it in is that I recently moved to North Carolina and it has no AC in it. The summers are brutal but it breaks my heart to think about getting rid of it. I became such a Honda fan that in 2005 I traded in my wife's 2001 Nissan Sentra (which was literally falling apart at 140,000 miles) and got an Element EX. In a life full of things that either breakdown or die sooner than you expect, it's nice to know that my Honda's won't.
