There are memories behind every mile in a Honda, and we’d love to hear yours. If your odometer has reached a notable milestone, this is the place to share your journey with others who have done the same. Congratulations—not every Honda travels 100,000 miles and beyond. The stories here don’t represent the average expectancy of every Honda. Everyone’s experience is different based on vehicle, driving manner and conditions.

I bought my 96 Granada Black Pearl DOHC VTEC Sol brand new. Ironically I took delivery June 21st...Summer Solstice! What could be more fitting? Immediately we embarked on our first road trip, top off of course! Eventually he came to be named desertSol.

I loved my Sol from day one, and can't imagine my life without him! We have traveled the country from Missouri to California and many points in between. We've seen all types of weather, but of course enjoy the perfect top off days the most! I can show you his first ever paint chip and give you a complete history of the gas mileage of every tank I have ever put in! I have done the majority of maintenance (with the help of a few of my friends) and have even done a few small modifications (but why mess with perfection?)
Of course I had to find people who understood and shared in my Sol feelings. I am a longtime member of Team Sol International and am founder and president of the Arizona chapter, Arizona Sols.

desertSol turned over to 100,000 miles while crossing the Golden Gate Bridge in the summer of 1999. He turned over to 200,000 on Rt. 66 near Williams, AZ November 2006. I only hope I can find another good trip/location for the grand 300,000 mile event!

I was excited to see that the logo for this page uses the silhouette of an old civic! A couple years ago I bought a 1978 CVCC to restore! I hope to have that one running in time for its 30th birthday!

Those Mugen MF8 wheels look awesome on your Del Sol. It's not everyday that you see an immaculate authentic DOHC Del Sol around and the CVCC Civic reminds me of my fathers car he bought his when it was brand new and I still have pictures of it. Now I own 3 Hondas a RSX Type S a TSX and 99 Civic SI which is the only one with over 100k miles and I'll always love Hondas to the death..........
