My car is named Honda Car. A name never fit her. We also call her Honda Truck. I haul horse hay in her trunk and moved 3 horses equipment in one trip (equipment equivalent to 6 horses since I ride 2 riding styles). She was owned by my parents, they were her second owner. The first owner took great care of her (came with maintenance records), and my father is very picky about his car care as well. I learned how to drive on her. My parents gave her to me when they replaced her with a new Honda Accord (back in '08 I think). Honda Car had maybe 200,000mi on her when I got her. I now have 327,000mi on her Odometer. Her body isn't pretty anymore due to a few fender benders resulting in mismatched body panels and her interior is badly word due to my American Bulldog. He loves his Honda Car, too. She is still running her original motor and transmission. We just started having transmission problems a few months ago and just popped up with major running problems last month. She's waiting for a full rebuild. She deserves it. I've gotten so many speeding tickets with her, she has been stolen once and found in one piece a week later (part of why I know I can't just get rid of her yet... I lost her once already), and covered so many miles with me. We travel about 3,000mi a month right now (average is 1,500 to 2,000mi a month). Even running very poorly now, she still gets 25mpg religiously. A major part of my mobile horse training business and currently my only means to get to my fiance who lives 650mi north of me in BC, Canada. Love my Honda Car and will own her til I have to scrap her (AFTER a full rebuild runs it's course).
