There are memories behind every mile in a Honda, and we’d love to hear yours. If your odometer has reached a notable milestone, this is the place to share your journey with others who have done the same. Congratulations—not every Honda travels 100,000 miles and beyond. The stories here don’t represent the average expectancy of every Honda. Everyone’s experience is different based on vehicle, driving manner and conditions.

I decided to try an experiment with my 1997 Civic. I had made it to 100,000 miles with several Hondas before but never to 200,000. My theory is the cars were made so well that to do further maintence to such an old car risked damaging things that were already working. So after I reached 100,000 miles I decided to find out how long the car would last with nothing but oil changes every 10,000 miles. So that is what I did. I drive 37 miles each way to work at about 60 mph 5 days a week. Just this month I reached 200,000 miles. The only problem I have is the oil plug leaks a little but otherwise it's fine. Let's see if I can make it to 300,000!!!
