"High Mileage Insight"

In 1999 I read about the Insight in the New York Times. I was very interested in a vehicle that gave me great mileage because as a NYC Ironworker living in upstate New York, I needed a car that would provide me with my commuting needs.
Once the 2000 Insight came out I immediately ordered it from my local dealer and I am still using it for my commuting today. I recently found out that I was the first one in the US to purchase the vehicle. The picture I have attached is when she first came from the showroom.
As of today I have over 338,000 miles on my car. However, sadly I must say that I have to retire it soon because of front wheel bearings and the cost factors for parts which as most Insight users know are hard to find and very expensive. I wish that Honda still produced the Insight or a hybrid pick up truck like the Honda Ridgeline.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Insight, especially for great mileage if it was still available.
