Sept. 2nd 2004 my 1990 Accord EX was laid to rest after a major "heart attack". I told myself I would not buy another car unless it was a 4th generation Accord (90-93). In Aug. 2007 I purchased a 1992 Accord DX for just under $1200.00. She had 254,502 miles on it when I got it. It now has 258,000+. I just finished a total motor rebuild for school. My instructor was telling us about cars with that high millage will have a ring around the top of the cylinder wall where the piston rings rub. After removing the pistons I saw that there was NO WEAR at all. The cylinder walls were just like new. Did my specs and checks and everything was within factory specs and limits. I will never buy anything other then a Honda ever again.
