Hi all,

It seemed like only 21 years ago when I bought my Honda Accord. Since that time My wife and I logged over 500,000 miles. To date we're sitting at 504,000. But that's getting ahead of myself.

I bought the car because a coworker had one that had over 100,000 miles on it, and that car ran fantastic. At the time I thought how is it posible for a car to drive that many miles but run like it was brand new. So I bought one and now I understand.

I'm so impressed with the car that I produced a video series called the "Moon and Back Chronicle" cuz 500,000 miles is roughly what it would take to travel there and back. Each video features the odometer rolling over every 1,000 miles from 490,000. And I also show the funnier side of owning a high mileage car. Check em out on YouTube.

I became the proud owner of my 89 Accord lxi almost a year ago. With 215,000 miles on her she was still like a brand new car. I thank the 2 previous owners for taking such good care of her. She now sits with 225,xxx on her and the only thing she needs is some cv joint work. I am a Honda man for life, I don't think I'll ever own another brand. I plan to drive the 89 for at least another 200,000 miles before I get a new Honda. Thank you Honda for making such a fine automobile.
