The Honda Racing Ridgeline program kicked off the 2017 racing season strong with its Ridgeline Baja Race Truck, ultimately finishing third in the "7200" class at the Parker 425. In a rugged race known for punishing the trucks competing in it, the Ridgeline held its own all the way to the podium.

Though the truck is powered by a 550 horsepower, 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine produced by Honda Performance Development, it actually uses the same block, cylinder heads and crankshaft as the production V-6 engine that powers the all-new Ridgeline. The race truck also shares several key design elements of the standard production Ridgeline, including the front fascia, hood, roof, bed and side profile.
